Access for disabled people
There is full disabled access to the ground floor of Park House and our sports pavilion.

Advertising
Advertising on our notice boards must be arranged through the Parish Council's office. Commercial advertising is not permitted.

Parish Council allotments are on Main Street.

CCTV surveillance
Glenfield Parish Council has one fully registered CCTV systm that covers Park House, Ellis Park, the multi-user games areas and the bowling green. The memorial Hall car park is also covered. The Proper Officer of the Parish Council is the Data Officer and all enquiries should be directed to him, at Park House.

Car parks
Parking is available in front of Park House, on the Memorial Hall Car Park, and on the two Blaby District Council owned car parks, Station Road and Stamford Street. The Memorial Hall Car Park can be used by visitors to Park House. There are time restrictions on the two Blaby District Council car parks.

There is an outreach centre at Park House for Blaby and Harborough district residents. The outreach operates on a Monday morning and is by appointment only. Call 0116 2312498 for an appointment. Further information is available through the links we have provided.

Conservation areas
There are no conservation areas in Glenfield but Blaby District Council is currently processing details to create an area off Kirby Road and Main Street.

Crime prevention is in the hands of our Neighhbourhood Police Team. They have their own page on our web site which provides details about the team, useful information and automated contact. Glenfield also has a neighbourhood watch scheme, Glenwatch. Click on Glenwatch in the green left han column on this page for further information.

There are several youth clubs in Glenfield run by Leicestershire County Council and the two churches. Glenfield Parish Council provides funding for the Leicestershire County Council Youth Leaders in Glenfield.
